La tentazione di tacere è forte. Per rispetto di un dramma umano, certo, ma anche perché le parole vengono a mancare. E molto apprezzamento va riconosciuto a quei media che già da qualche giorno hanno deciso di sottrarsi alla cronaca minuta di quelle che sembravano le ultime ore di Eluana.
Tuttavia, la realtà ha superato la fantasia e il quadro si è ulteriormente complicato con un’iniziativa del governo che molti non esitano a definire un tentativo di “golpe” e che sicuramente apre un conflitto istituzionale del tutto inedito nella storia del paese.
Dunque, come tacere, se non sentendosi conniventi?
Come, soprattutto, pensando alla battaglia di Beppino Englaro? Che ci parla, a tutti e ad ognuno di noi.
E ci dice che è solo praticando il terreno della legalità e della presa di parola pubblica che si riesce a stanare la cattiva politica e a smascherarne il volto (vorremmo dire il ghigno) autoritario, indifferente ai principi dell’ordinamento e del bene pubblico.
Occorre, in un momento grave del paese, raccogliere questa lezione, seguirne l’esempio.
Uscire dalle case e dai propri particolari, fare di ogni ingiustizia privata un fatto pubblico, parlare e manifestare.
